Behind the Name

Dramactive Arts is not just a collaborative arts company. The word "active" is in our name for an important reason. We are all about being active in our community. This work is extremely important to us, and we make it part of our mission to help others, especially those less fortunate than ourselves. Throughout the year, we work on charitable causes. We will be holding several events as well to help raise funds not just for Dramactive Arts future programs, but also for other organizations and charities. For several years, I have worked with Pheed Philly, "a small grassroots movement that aims to improve quality of life for the homeless of Philadelphia one care package at a time." I have also raised money for other organizations such as THON, The Progeria Research Foundation, World Wildlife Fund, and even more personal events to help friends and family who are struggling. I am very excited to bring all of this into Dramactive Arts and to help be a part of making the world a better place.
